Assistant Finance Accountant

Must have’s

• GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade 5 or above, or equivalent
• Good attention to detail
• Confident communication skills
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Good organisational skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team

Nice to have’s

• An interest in finance, accounting or insurance
• Experience using Microsoft Office
• Some previous office or finance experience would be beneficial

So, what will you be doing?

• Supporting the team with journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Helping with invoices and cashbook tasks
• Assisting with cashflow forecasts
• Supporting investment and foreign exchange administration
• Running reports for the wider team
• Helping prepare presentations and financial documents
• Assisting with financial statements
• Supporting general accounting and finance requests
• Working with colleagues across the finance team and gaining experience in different areas
