This is a hands-on leadership role at the heart of the business, combining strong financial governance with genuine commercial insight.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, managing and developing the Finance team, including the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams
• Preparing insightful monthly consolidated management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, with detailed variance and tour analysis and commentary
• Managing complex cash flow and weekly payment runs, including daily and rolling 13-week cash flow reporting and forecasting
• Ensuring clean, accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations across all Group companies
• Leading the audit process and working with the CFO on the approval of the statutory accounts
• Managing VAT compliance and reporting, regulatory returns and monthly insurance returns
• Maintaining and developing internal financial systems, controls and processes, including risk management of company credit cards
• Working with the Commercial team on tour profitability and investigating variances to identify efficiencies and cost savings
• Supporting the CFO in setting annual budgets and financial targets aligned to the Group's strategic aims
• Partnering with the Senior Leadership team to deliver the strategic plan and liaising with merchant service providers

About You

You'll bring:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
• A minimum of four years' accounting experience in a group company environment
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage, develop and influence a wide group of people
• Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Sage 200 Professional
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent planning and organisational skills
• A proactive, self-starting approach and the ability to deliver results under pressure
• A clear understanding of the business and the wider industry is important, although previous experience within travel is by no means essential.

Why Join us?

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Influence business decisions
• Work closely with senior leadership
• Lead meaningful process improvements
• Develop your career across a portfolio of travel brands
