School Business Manager – Grade 6
Sapperton Church of England Primary School, Gloucestershire
Hours: 3 days per week, ideally Monday–Wednesday (flexibility will be considered over days and also possibility of hours being worked over 4 or 5 days.)
Working hours: 8.30am–4.00pm (ideal start time but flexibility can be given)
Working weeks: 39 weeks per year, plus 5 additional days during school holidays
Salary: Grade 6, pro rata
Sapperton Church of England Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and committed School Business Manager to join our friendly and welcoming school community.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the effective day-to-day running of the school, working closely with the Executive Headteacher, Head of School, staff and governors to support the smooth and efficient management of the school’s business and administrative functions.
We are looking for someone who is:
• Highly organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities
• Confident working with budgets, finance and administrative systems
• An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
• Able to work independently while also being a valued member of our school team
• Professional, approachable and committed to maintaining confidentiality
• Proactive, with a practical and positive approach to problem-solving
• Ideally experienced in school administration, finance or business management, although relevant transferable experience will be considered
The role will involve responsibility for a range of school business and administrative functions, with the opportunity to make a positive contribution to the continued development of our school.
