Must have’s
Strong bookkeeping experience, ideally within a practice environment
Solid knowledge of VAT, payroll and CIS requirements
Confidence using cloud accounting software
Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
Excellent organisational and communication skills
High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
Positive, proactive and client-focused approach
Nice to have’s
Experience training clients on accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
So, what will you be doing?
Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Overseeing and processing payrolls with accuracy and compliance
Handling CIS reporting and submissions
Providing software training and support to clients
Responding to client queries in a timely and professional manner
Maintaining accurate financial records and meeting key deadlines
Identifying process improvements and supporting the development of bookkeeping procedures
Collaborating with the wider team to support client deliverables
