The Longlevens Primary Federation is made up of Longlevens Infant School, Longlevens Junior School and Playdays Early Years. We are a large organisation on the outskirts of the city of Gloucester and serve the community of Longlevens and its environs. The schools are on separate sites about 500 metres from each other. We have over 870 children in our care and offer a through primary experience from 2-11 under our drivers of child centred, enriching, community.

At the heart of our vision and drivers is a commitment to ensure we provide the very best educational opportunities, nurture the whole child both academically and personally, preparing them for the life as future citizens in our society.

As a large experienced team we have excellent personal development programmes and are committed to developing our teams so that they are fully equipped to deliver our vision and aims both now and in the future. Our staff receive high levels of support both from within the organisation and with our external partners.

We are seeking a dynamic personality to be our new School Business Manager, you will be responsible for strategic planning including financial, personnel, health & safety, estate and lettings and to ensure that the Federation makes the best possible use of resources available.

You will be working closely with the Executive Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team, Business Support Teams and Governing Body across the Federation as an active member of the Leadership Team, working with us strategically in realising our ambitions for the Federation.

Applicants with experience of working in the education sector are welcome as are those with a business background. The ability to lead a large, multi-disciplinary team is essential.

Visits to look round our schools will take place on the following dates:

Monday 15th June - 9.30 a.m.
Tuesday 16th June - 2.30 p.m.
Thursday 18th June - 3.00 p.m.
Tuesday 23rd June - 9.30 a.m.

Closing date is Friday 26th June 12 noon
