Retain Healthcare, a leading provider of Homecare staffing, Agency staffing, and Social Care Training across the Southwest, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our team of three.
Key Responsibilities
Sales ledger
- Produce invoices on a weekly, 4 weekly and monthly basis
- Cross reference invoices to care system ensure all rates are accurate
- Assist the Credit Controller and Branch managers in resolving any discrepancies
Purchase Ledger
- Posting purchase invoices and Credit notes
- Processing credit card Purchases
- Posting Petty cash
Additional Finance Duties
- Assisting the Finance Manager with the weekly payroll in the absence of the Payroll Assistant
- General Finance support as required by the business
About you
- You must be organized, methodical and detail oriented
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a team
- Eagerness to learn and grow professionally
Skills & Experience
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Previous experience of using Xero is advantageous although not essential
- Excellent communication skills
