Must Have’s
- GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade 5 or above (or equivalent)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience working in an office setting, dealing with third parties
- Knowledge and understanding of credit control
- Problem-solving ability and confidence to use procedures to find solutions
- Commitment to study and achieve the Cert CII qualification within 18–24 months

Nice to have’s
• Some previous work experience (insurance sector or other industries)
• Previous experience working within a credit control role
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)
• Interest in finance (credit control), accounts, or insurance administration

So what will you be doing?
• Creating and checking standard document templates for internal and external use
• Entering, updating, and managing data in systems such as Global XB and MS Office
• Filing documents accurately and maintaining records of aged balances/non-payments
• Responding to correspondence and queries in line with procedures
• Reviewing departmental reports (e.g., warranties, unallocated cash, funding, claims) and taking action to resolve issues
• Reconciling cash balances and trading partner statements
• Allocating cash receipts, settlements, and foreign currency transactions
• Preparing statements of account and payment requisition requests
• Monitoring unpaid premiums and ensuring compliance with settlement conditions
