Underwriter required by prestigious client, based near Cirencester. The successful Underwriter will be responsible for reviewing applications, considering risk and agreeing terms accordingly.
Main Duties: Underwriter
* Reviewing allocated applications, considering risk factors and formulating decisions on terms.
* Managing policy changes and exclusions.
* Processing claims misrepresentation cases.
* Responding to enquiries by telephone and email.
* Referral of cases when required.
* Carrying out analysis and producing reports.
* Contributing to continuous improvement of business processes.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Underwriter
* A background within a similar role gained within a Financial Services Environment.
* Excellent communication skills, with a consultative approach and the ability to influence others.
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload.
* Able to make strategic business decisions.
* A strong understanding of the relevant legislation.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office.
