Administration Assistant

Working in an open plan office/studio reporting to the Director and
Studio Manager/Creative Director
Zardi & Zardi
We are a small, growing, creative business located in rural
Gloucestershire in the owner’s barn, designing, manufacturing and
selling digitally printed fabrics and wallpapers. We are looking for
someone on a full-time basis to take care of the administrative tasks
generated by the day to day running of the studio.
Hours
- 35 hours per week – on site
- the office/studio is open Monday to Friday
- flexible working
Responsibilities
Managing incoming and outgoing deliveries including:
- Unpacking and checking of incoming orders of printed fabrics and wallpaper
- Packing parcels and preparing paperwork for outgoing orders of printed fabrics and wallpapers
- Sending out marketing material to clients, completing appropriate paperwork including overseas customs paperwork
Stock control of marketing materials. Liaising with our showroom spaces for sample stock control.
Recording all interactions and processes by keeping the CRM system up to date (full training will be given)
Managing financial aspects of the business to include:
- Preparation of paperwork for bookkeeper
- Payment of purchase invoices
- Recording sales receipts and sending out invoices
- Monitoring cash flow
General office duties including answering incoming telephone calls, responding to general email enquiries, ordering stationary etc.
To undertake any additional administrative duties as required.
Skills / Experience
Must have:
- experience working with Microsoft Suite of programmes incl. Word, Excel and Outlook
- Previous experience in an office/Admin environment
Full training on our internal systems will be provided
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of customs/import export rules
- Bookkeeping / taxes
- Mac literate

- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and initiative with the ability to work without supervision
- Accurate, thorough and willing to see things through to the end

- Must be dependable and able to follow instructions
Location/commute
- Podgwell Barn is approx. three-quarters of a mile from the village of Edge, Gloucestershire (GL6 6NJ) so car is the easiest. Although it is possible to commute by public transport, we are based in a very rural location and therefore applicants should consider travel arrangements before applying.
Salary and Employment status
- Annual salary to be agreed based on experience and skill levels
- Full time employed position
