Temporary Purchase Ledger Assistant – Immediate Start

Our well-established manufacturing client, who are a leading player in their field, are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their busy finance department on a temporary basis based at their Quedgeley offices!
This assignment will last for approx. 4 -6 weeks with a possibility of being extended further or to go permanent for the right candidate.
The main purpose of this role is to contribute towards the efficient day to day running of the finance department, ensuring that high standards of service, quality and accuracy are maintained.
Assisting with:
-Matching of delivery notes and invoices
-Checking quantities and pricing are correct
-Input of purchase invoices
-Input of charge card entries
-Payment of expenses
-Dealing with invoice queries and liaising with suppliers and internal team members
-Payment of purchase invoices
-Purchase Account reconciliation
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, early Friday finish *part time hours will also be considered*
Salary: £14 to £15 per hour depending on experience
