Summer School EFL Teacher

Dean Close Summer School is seeking dynamic, enthusiastic, and committed EFL Teachers to join our growing international summer programme. The programme runs for four weeks from July 8 – August 5 with international students typically joining for two weeks at a time (either July 8 to July 22 or July 22 to August 5).
We welcome students aged 8–17 from around the world for two‑week activity‑rich English language courses, combining engaging lessons, sports, creative sessions, evening events, and cultural excursions.
As a Summer School EFL Teacher, you will deliver 3.5 hours of high‑quality English lessons each morning, following the Director of Studies’ academic vision. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering bespoke, level‑appropriate lessons
- Maintaining registers, records of work, and assessment notes
- Supporting placement testing
- Accompanying students on activities, social events, and excursions
The successful candidates will have experience teaching English as a foreign or second Language, and have a TEFL-I qualification or equivalent level qualification (CELTA, CertTESOL)
