Our client, a well-established business within the manufacturing industry, based in Evesham, has an exciting new opportunity for a Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis due to continued business growth.
The successful Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative should have:
* Previous warehouse or stores experience
* Previous experience operating a forklift, with a valid forklift licence desirable
* Good communication skills and a strong team-player mentality
* A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
* The ability to work independently and use their initiative
* Good computer literacy and a good understanding of warehouse processes
In this role, the Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative will be responsible for:
* Operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move, load and unload stock
* Completing goods in and goods out activities, including picking and packing
* Carrying out assembly and rework of products
* Supporting the movement, storage and consolidation of stock throughout the warehouse
* Ensuring stock is stored safely and efficiently and that the warehouse remains clean and organised
* Completing general warehouse duties as required to ensure goods are received and dispatched correctly and on time
Our client is offering the successful Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative a salary of £27,300, alongside a range of benefits including holiday allowance, pension, onsite parking and the potential of an annual bonus plus full training to support you in the role.
