Forklift Truck Driver

We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Truck Driver to join our Chilled Warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate handling, movement, and storage of goods within a fast-paced environment. This role requires a proactive individual with strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high operational and safety standards.

• Safely operate a forklift truck to transport, load, and unload goods.

• Assist warehouse operatives with accurate order picking, stock rotation, and replenishment activities.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment within the chilled warehouse.

• Comply with all health and safety policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Complete tasks efficiently and accurately within set deadlines.

• Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Team Leader or Warehouse Management.

• Valid forklift truck licence with proven operational experience.

• Strong organisational and communication skills.

• Positive attitude with a high level of motivation and flexibility.

• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.

• Good numeracy and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.

• Working knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe working practices.

• Previous experience working within the dairy, chilled, or food production industry.
