Counterbalance Fortklift Driver required in Whitminster, Gloucestershire to work as a warehouse and production operative Pay: £12.21 - £13.00 per hour, Shifts: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 17:00 with possible shifts moving to mornings, evenings and nights Contract: Temporary ongoing, with temp-to-perm opportunities
Pertemps are recruiting for Counterbalance Truck Drivers to join a leading food distribution company based in Stonehouse (GL10). This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work with a reputable and expanding business.
Key Duties
- Operating a Counterbalance Truck safely and efficiently
- High-level picking and stock replenishment
- Goods In: unloading deliveries, stock put-away, rework as required
- Goods Out: scanning/voice picking, packing, dispatch, quality checks
- Lifting, loading, stacking and wrapping pallets of stock
- Manual handling and heavy lifting required
- Support production and manufacturing process
What Were Looking For
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck certificate
- Proven Forklift Truck driving experience
- Previous warehouse and production experience
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good attention to detail and communication skills
- Physically fit and able to follow detailed instructions
- Flexibility to support the team when needed
Pay & Benefits
- £12.21 - £13.00 per hour
- Overtime after 40 hours
- On-site Health & Safety induction on your first day
