Sports Centre Supervisor

Wycliffe College are seeking a proactive and reliable Sports Centre Supervisor to help manage the daily operations of our busy Sports Centre.

In this hands-on role, you’ll supervise sporting activities, ensure health and safety procedures are followed, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

Key duties include opening and closing the facility, handling problems and emergencies in line with school procedures, instructing users on the correct and safe use of equipment and techniques, and carrying out administrative tasks in liaison with the Estates Bursar.

We’re looking for someone enthusiastic about sport, with strong people skills, confidence under pressure, and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Coaching experience and the ability to supervise a range of age groups is desirable, along with qualifications in sports coaching and first aid.

Terms of the appointment

The working hours are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings from 5.30pm to 10.00pm, and Sunday afternoons from 2.00pm to 4.30pm. The role is offered on a zero-hours contract basis, with an hourly pay rate of £12.21.
