Trade Counter Sales Assistant Wanted | Join a Growing Builders Merchant with Excellent Career Progression!
Our client, a well-established roofing and building supplies business within the roofing materials and builders merchants sector , based in Kingsditch, Cheltenham , has an exciting new opportunity for a Trade Counter Sales Assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis due to continued business growth and increased customer demand .
The successful Trade Counter Sales Assistant should have:
* Previous experience in a customer-facing sales or trade counter environment
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to process orders accurately and efficiently
* Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail
* A willingness to learn product knowledge and work effectively as part of a team.
In this role, the Trade Counter Sales Assistant will be responsible for:
* Serving customers at the trade counter and providing a professional, friendly service
* Processing customer orders via face-to-face interactions, telephone and email
* Preparing quotations and advising customers on suitable roofing and building products
* Picking, checking and preparing orders for collection and delivery
* Assisting with stock control, goods-in checks and maintaining a safe, organised branch environment.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 4:30pm
* 1 in 3 Saturdays: 7:30am - 11:30am
* 42-hour working week
Our client is offering the successful Trade Counter Sales Assistant a salary of £27,758 per annum (£12.71 per hour) plus an excellent benefits package including:
* 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
* Additional paid Christmas shutdown days
* Company pension scheme from Day 1
* 3x annual salary death in service benefit
