Play a key role in the Gloucestershire Road Safety Partnership by being a catalyst for change in reducing the number of people who are killed and seriously injured in road traffic collisions.
About the Team and the role
• Lead the charge for safer roads by coordinating a powerful alliance of partners—Gloucestershire County Council, Fire and Rescue, Police, National Highways, and more—to deliver bold, measurable change.
• Strategise for impact by designing and executing forward-thinking plans and campaigns that reduce road traffic collisions and save lives.
• Champion innovation through creative interventions that challenge the status quo and drive behavioural change across the county.
• Own the numbers—manage budgets, monitor programmes, and deliver accurate, insightful reports and forecasts that inform decision-making.
• Secure vital funding by leading compelling applications to grant bodies, including the Department for Transport, to secure funding for transformative road safety initiatives.
• Drive collaboration with your knowledge of the Safe System, ensuring all partners work in sync to maximise effectiveness.
• Lead high-profile projects that shape the future of road safety—such as county-wide speed limit reductions—with real, lasting impact.
