Gap Year Tutor

The Dean Close Foundation are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, proactive and caring Gap Year Tutor to join our dedicated team from January 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for a school leaver, graduate, or anyone considering a future career in education, childcare, teaching, or youth development.
As a Gap Year Tutor, you will play an important role in supporting teaching and learning across our Pre-Prep School, working with children aged 2-7 years. You will gain hands-on experience in the classroom while becoming fully involved in the wider life of the school.
Previous experience working with children, either formally or informally, is desirable but not essential. A First Aid qualification or prior experience in a school or childcare setting would be advantageous.
