Lecturer in Hairdressing

Are you a passionate hairdresser looking to share your skills and inspire the next generation of stylists? At Gloucestershire College, we’re looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Lecturer in Hairdressing.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hairdresser to share their industry expertise and inspire the next generation of professionals.

As a Lecturer in Hairdressing at Gloucestershire College, you will teach Level 1–3 learners through a mix of practical sessions, salon work with real clients and theory lessons in our professional training salons.

You will support students to develop their technical skills, confidence and industry knowledge, helping prepare them for successful careers in the hair and beauty industry. Teaching qualifications will be supported if not already held.

We currently have two positions available:  1 based at Gloucester/Cinderford campuses and the other at Gloucester/Cheltenham campuses.

About You:

• Recent industry experience in the hair sector. 
• Qualified to Level 3 Hair 
• Assessors’ Award (or willingness to complete)
• PGCE or DTTLS or Certificate in Education (or willingness to complete)
