Oasis Academy Daventry Road is a vibrant, inclusive secondary school at the heart of South Bristol. Since opening in 2023 with its first cohort of Year 7 students, the academy has already built strong foundations and is now on an exciting growth journey.

 With a brand-new, state-of-the-art permanent building under construction set to include modern sports facilities, landscaped outdoor areas, and dynamic learning spaces the academy will expand year on year until it reaches full capacity as a 900-place school. We are proud of our strong relationships, high expectations, and commitment to creating a safe, supportive environment where every student can flourish. The Role

Currently there is no specialism attached to this role, this will be shaped by and dependent on the successful candidate. Below are possible responsibilities dependent upon the best candidate:

  • Champion evidence-based pedagogy, curriculum design, and assessment practices or inclusion, culture and belonging
  • Work closely with colleagues to model outstanding practice, deliver impactful professional development, and foster a reflective, ambitious staff/student culture
  • Use data and dialogue to support all staff in refining practice and raising outcomes
  • Contribute to the wider leadership of the academy, sharing responsibility for our ongoing improvement journey

  • Experience in developing whole-school strategies around teaching, curriculum, and assessment
