Facilities Duty Manager (Maternity Cover)

Dean Close Foundation is seeking a reliable and proactive Facilities Duty Manager to support the safe and effective operation of the school site during evening hours. This key role acts as the on-site Duty Manager and is primarily based in the Sports Hall.

The post holder will support the delivery of evening sports activities, oversee external lettings, and assist with boarding supervision later in the evening. Responsibilities include preparing and managing sports facilities and equipment, providing a professional point of contact for hirers and visitors, and ensuring all activities are delivered in line with health, safety and safeguarding expectations.

The successful candidate will be calm, approachable and practical, with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively with staff across the school. A strong awareness of safeguarding and a commitment to providing a safe, welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors are essential.

Hours: Evenings, 6.00pm–10.00pm
Contract: Maternity Cover
