Head of Economics & Business Studies

Dean Close Kingham Hill School are looking to appoint a Head of Economics & Business Studies to lead and deliver lessons across KS4 and KS5, Economics (A Level) and Business Studies (GCSE & BTEC), bringing strong leadership and collaborative approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead curriculum development and drive high standards of teaching and learning
- Deliver engaging lessons across academic and vocational pathways
- Monitor pupil progress and use data to raise achievement
- Support and develop colleagues within the department
- Enrich learning through real-world applications and external partnerships
- Ensure compliance with assessment and examination requirements
The successful candidate will combine excellent subject knowledge with a passion for inspiring pupils, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and achievement. They will be committed to innovation, collaboration and delivering an inclusive, future-focused curriculum.
