Chosen Hill School is a large comprehensive academy located in Churchdown, near Cheltenham in Gloucestershire.

We are looking for a committed and driven individual to join our thriving Sixth Form Team. You will be somebody who can build aspirations in our students, nurture them, and prepare them for life beyond school. You will be key in ensuring they recognise their skills and achievements so they can make successful post 18 applications in their field of interest.
We are keen to recruit an individual who has excellent communication skills and an interest in careers. You will be willing to learn and keep abreast of changes and new trends in apprenticeships and university courses. You will be confident in communicating and presenting to students, parents and staff.
Key Areas of Responsibility include:
- Providing individual and group support for KS5 Students regarding applications to university and apprenticeships and employment.
- Management and oversight of the Unifrog platform schoolwide
- Management and oversight of the UCAS system
- Contribution to Sixth Form PSHE from a Futures perspective
- Liaising with alumni, universities and employers
- Working closely with the Sixth Form Leadership Team, School Careers Lead and Learning Mentors
- The post is offered at 15 hours per week over 5 days (days and times are flexible and can be agreed), term time only plus 1 week of holiday/inset working (39 weeks).
