We are seeking an Interim Headteacher to lead our school for a one-year period.
Our new Headteacher will embody the qualities we encourage in our children including: commitment, intelligence, integrity, creativity, compassion and above all a sense of fun. We look forward to meeting those who have the vision and share our passion to take Kempsford School forward.
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational leader who:
• has an ambition and passion for education, and will enable all children and staff to feel their worth and reach their full potential
• is fully committed to the distinctive aims and ethos of this Church of England school and maintains and develops
• links with the parish church and community
• is approachable and caring towards every child, parent/carer and the local community, with a visible presence in the school
• sets high professional standards for themselves as well as other staff and is an exemplary classroom practitioner
• with an excellent understanding of high-quality teaching
Join our school and you will work with some wonderful children, inherit a dedicated, experienced and committed staff team, have strong support from the governing board and an active PTA.
Whilst the Governors’ preference is to secure an exclusive teaching head, they would be open to hearing from other schools who may be interested in exploring an executive leadership arrangement.
