An exciting opportunity for a first headship.
We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, hardworking and highly motivated Headteacher (with possible teaching commitment) to lead our school community. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader who is passionate about delivering excellence in education and nurturing every child to meet their full potential.
With some teaching commitments, this is a permanent, full-time vacancy to join our happy school and committed team.
Required from September 2026 but may accept a January 2027 start
As head of our school, you will:
• Share our school vision and values to AIM HIGH, supporting our children to be the best they can be
• Be supportive of the school’s Christian Vision and ethos that underpins our values for learning
• Demonstrate highly effective assertive and strategic leadership and operational skills
• Understand the importance of relationships and community in a small school setting
• Be approachable and capable of building good relationships with all stakeholders
• Be an inspiring classroom practitioner, able to model expectation for excellent teaching throughout the school and be able to monitor and assess to tailor your pedagogy to the bespoke needs of our children
