Woodchester School is a popular, happy and thriving Cotswold village school with a strong Christian ethos and high standards of achievement and behaviour. In February 2023 Woodchester retained its “Outstanding” rating in an ungraded Ofsted inspection and was also rated as “Outstanding” in the 2017 SIAMS inspection.
The Governors are seeking to appoint a full-time Headteacher with energy and vision to build upon our school’s success.
We are looking for a Headteacher who will:
• be an approachable, personable, enthusiastic, dynamic and be an inspirational and effective leader in all aspects of school management
• show a commitment to high quality teaching and learning and the social development of every child, promoting the spiritual, moral and mental health of children and staff so that all adults and pupils in the school can flourish
• demonstrate a commitment to promoting the Christian vision, values and ethos of the school
• continue to nurture, develop, support and sustain our talented, enthusiastic and committed staff
• maintain and develop the strong links with parents, church and local community
• provide clear strategic leadership, build on the school’s strength and have a clear vision for the future
• is committed to the school’s vision of inclusive education
