Health & Safety Advisor required to join a leading tier 1 contractor based in the southwest to work on a 100m project, in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business with plenty of pipeline and work across the southwest including Bristol, Gloucester, Wiltshire & Somerset.

About the role of Health & Safety Advisor

As Health & Safety Advisor you will be responsible for running the project form a Health & safety standpoint and reporting into the H&S Manager. Previous experience working on a similar value scheme would be advantages, as well as previous exposure working on laboratories and data centres would also be preferable.

Responsibilities for Health & Safety Advisor

  • Drive and deliver industry leading Health & safety standards and best practices
  • Lead investigations and offer guidance ad support surrounding investigation techniques and delivery measures.
  • Proactively promote Health & Safety standards from a legislation standpoint and company standards, promoting risk awareness throughout site team.

Requirements for Health & Safety Advisor

  • Experience driving H&S leadership in construction, preferably across projects circa 100m
  • Relevant qualifications NEBOSH, NVQ or IOSH
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of all construction Heath & safety legislation
  • Ability to communicate across varying levels, influencing best practice and motivation
  • Proactive and team player attitude
