Job summary
The post holder will provide proactive and comprehensive administrative support to facilitate the day to day running of the team and maintain a high quality of service. Providing comprehensive correspondence, diary and document management, arranging and servicing meetings for the Medicines Optimisation Team.
Main duties will include, the preparation of agendas and minutes, taking appropriate follow-up action as required and be central in the organisation of internal and external meetings, supporting the team with the management of projects, gathering information and undertaking enquires as and when is necessary for the head of department, teams and the department. The post-holder will also support the analysing and monitoring of prescribing data to ensure regular reporting on prescribing budgets. The work may involve sensitive information and confidentiality must be observed at all times.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for providing admin support across the Medicines Optimisation team, having a wide portfolio of work, including dealing with general enquiries and correspondence via Microsoft Teams and email.
Providing comprehensive correspondence, diary and document management, arranging and servicing meetings for the Medicines Optimisation Team.
To be the point of contact for the team on general matters, ensuring a high standard of communication and confidentiality when receiving and communicating to others, patient and staff sensitive issues, using the appropriate discretion and ensuring that queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
