Clinical System Applications Manager - Band 6

Job summary

A new and exciting role has become available within the Patient Systems Team based in College Baths Cheltenham, for a Clinical Systems Application Manager for the Patient Engagement Portal (PEP)

The post holder will be responsible for the system management of the PEP system and support the administration aspects of the other systems managed by the Team to uphold the operational requirements of the Trust.

This is a new post and will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to shape the role, introducing new ideas, and make a lasting impact within the organisation.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role is to be responsible for the Patient Engagement Portal and act as an information asset owner. The post holder will assist with planning and coordination and document patches and upgrades, including testing of new features and ensuring training and support is given to system users

Also developing and maintaining the SOP's as appropriate within digital and operational Teams, including downtime procedures and upgrades. writing and maintaining documentation of all policies and procedures.

Act as the relationship manager between System Suppliers, DTI and System Users

Previous specialist proven evidence and expertise of working within the NHS is required. Also experience of management of an administrative or clinical system in a large organisation.

About us

The post holder will be working within the Patient Systems Team in College Baths in Cheltenham, we are a Team of 15 staff (11.2 WTE) who maintain the TrakCare systems and support Trak users, also supporting Infoflex users.

This role is working full time in the office.
