Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable women?
The Nelson Trust is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Liaison and Diversion Keyworker to join our Women’s Community Services team in Gloucester.

About the Role

You’ll work in partnership with Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust to deliver a gender-specific diversionary scheme.

Your goal?

  • To divert women away from the Criminal Justice System and into tailored support packages at the earliest possible opportunity.
  • As a Keyworker, you’ll be a trusted guide—offering one-to-one signposting, practical advice, and holistic, trauma-informed support to help women build confidence and make sustainable, positive life changes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage referrals to appropriate support services
  • Deliver personalised, trauma-informed support to women
  • Collaborate closely with partner agencies to ensure joined-up care
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience supporting women with multiple and complex needs
  • Proven ability to develop effective partnerships with external agencies
  • Experience in needs assessment and creating/delivering support plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A full driving licence and willingness to travel

Please note: Due to the nature of the work in our Women’s Centres, this role is open to female applicants only under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1.
