Job summary
This role is offered on a fixed term/secondment basis for 18 months. The hours are full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
The Temporary Staffing Team plays a vital part in staffing the Trust's numerous sites and services.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated organised person with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff. You will also need to be flexible, adaptable and able to work with minimal supervision.
The service runs 24/7, 365 days per year including weekends and bank-holidays. You will be expected to work shift patterns and on-call duties as required.
The shift patterns are 7am - 3pm or 11am - 7pm Monday to Friday, and 7.30am - 3.30pm or 9am - 5pm on weekends.
It is essential that you can work accurately, quickly and have enhanced IT skills and the ability to adapt to computer systems e.g., Allocate, a bank and agency booking system for which full training will be given.
Main duties of the job
Process bookings received by e-mail, telephone or text and enter onto the Rostering System in an accurate and timely manner in relation to the nature of the request
Proactively identify solutions and suggest alternatives to managers when bank cover is not available for the shift requested.
Work within bank and agency policies and procedures and to participate in the Trust audits proposing changes as necessary.
