This role is offered on a permanent basis. The hours are 37.5 hours per week but will consider part time hours.
Gloucestershire Lymphoedema Service is seeking to recruit a highly motivated Registered Nurse, HCPC Occupational Therapist or HCPC Physiotherapist to join our small, well established Lymphoedema Team. The vacancy is for a Lymphoedema Practitioner Band 6 or Development Lymphoedema Practitioner Band5/6, depending on level of experience.
Training, support and mentorship will be provided to help you to develop skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver high quality care at a specialist level, and the successful candidate will be expected to undertake the Lymphoedema Training Academy (LTA) Course.
Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will be responsible, along with the current team, in developing the service, providing specialist assessment, support and treatment for service users and will work both autonomously and collaboratively with the team and other multi professional teams to ensure practice is efficient , effective and evidence based.
