Practice Nurse with a special interest in Diabetes. (24.5 hrs pw)

Aspen Medical Practice is a large single practice PCN covering the whole of Gloucester City and based in a large modern health centre near Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
We have a dynamic and evolving model of care based around teams of clinicians with a wide variety of skills and backgrounds, supported by in house diagnostic testing. We focus particularly on chronic disease management and the care of frail older people and adults with LD, but also have a large working age population and actively engage in research projects.
Aspen Medical Practice are seeking to recruit the ideal candidate to join our dynamic treatment room Diabetes team and work with us to provide the best possible service for our patients and their families.
Key attributes required are:
- NMC registered nurse with up-to-date DBS
- Warwick Certificate of Diabetes or equivalent diabetes qualification
- Enthusiastic team player
- Flexibility
- Takes initiative and can work independently.
Experience in general practice would be an advantage.
A competitive salary will be offered and the NHS pension as standard.
