Make a move to our paediatric unit to make a difference using your clinical knowledge to enhance the experience of children, young people and families. Here at Gloucester, we are delighted to offer Band 4 nursing associate positions within the paediatric unit.
The Centre offers a unique environment for nursing associates to develop their paediatric experience across a range of areas: Inpatients, Paediatric Assessment Unit, High Dependency unit, Day unit, oncology shared care services and outpatients.

We have a dedicated professional development team who will support you through you induction period, helping you consolidate your learning and gain the essential skills knowledge and competencies to help you integrate into our nursing team.

Main duties of the job
As a Registered Nursing Associate on paediatrics you will be expected to deliver compassionate, safe, high quality, care for children of all ages within our large unit. Our service cover specialist inpatient services such as paediatric oncology, paediatric critical care level 2, paediatric surgery and a paediatric assessment unit as well as an extensive children's outpatient service.
You should be enthusiastic, motivated with good interpersonal skills and able to problem solve and prioritise during periods of pressure.
In collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, you will be required to deliver and supervise patient care for the clinical area; ensuring assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of a high standard of care.
Working in conjunction with the team to deliver safe patient and family centred care within a challenging and changing clinical environment.
