Nurse – Medical Centre (NHS Band 6 equivalent)
Pro-rated salary is £10,272.89 per annum (Full Time Equivalent: £40,588 per
annum), plus an overnight allowance and holiday pay (£1,597.43) per annum.
This is an exciting opportunity for a friendly, approachable and enthusiastic Nurse
who enjoys working with young people, to join our on-site Medical Centre team
working within a prestigious boarding school based in the centre of Cheltenham. You
will be part of a large and friendly community, contributing to our Pupils’ education
and experience.
This is a permanent, part time, term time only position (34 weeks per year plus 2
INSET days). Working on average 15 hours per week across 3 days on a 2 week
rota, and 1 overnight duty.
In this role, you will work as part of the on-site Medical Centre team, contributing to
all aspects of pupils’ physical, social and psychological health and well-being. An
ability to work and communicate well with young people is essential.
The Medical Centre is an integral part of the whole school, operating 24 hours a day,
seven days a week in term time. We pride ourselves in providing high quality care,

standards are met at all times, as well as being welcoming and friendly to pupils,
staff and parents.
