We are looking for an exceptionalAssistant Psychologist to join our new specialist acute inpatient mental health service for people with learning disabilities and autistic people.

You will be joining a passionate and supportive team, with extensive opportunities for supervision, support, and professional development.

Right to Work in the UK This position is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants must already hold the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application, as the organisation is unable to support sponsorship for this post.

Main duties of the job

To support the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based psychological assessment, formulation and intervention within the inpatient service. This will include a focus on supporting and implementing the delivery of trauma-informed Positive Behaviour Support, and collaborative working with other members of the service such as our Peer Support Practitioners. To contribute to relevant workstreams including EDI, quality improvement and research. To support the facilitation of continuing professional development events and training, as appropriate to the role. To support the delivery of the Psychological Therapies service as a whole.
