Job summary
Trauma and Orthopaedic Clerical Assistant & Outpatient Reception, Band 2 (30 hours a week)
To provide an efficient and friendly service to all patients and visitors attending the outpatient department.
Main duties of the job
Ensuring all preparation of patient medical notes for all clinic attendances are completed.
To record patient attendance and action patient's outcomes.
Where appropriate, make appointments and any associated administration, without direct supervision.
Ensure the professional image of the department and trust is maintained at all times.
Flexible approach to working hours to meet demands of the service.

Trauma & Orthopaedics is a large specialty with 28 Consultant Surgeons who between them treat emergency (Trauma) patients at Gloucestershire Royal and Cheltenham General Hospitals. The successful candidate will join a highly-motivated and hard-working Team. We are looking for an individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team.
