Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide specialist midwifery leadership for the Trust's perinatal mortality and morbidity review processes, ensuring robust, timely and high-quality reviews in line with national standards. The role requires a high degree of autonomy, professional judgement and multidisciplinary influence in complex and sensitive situations. The post holder will lead thematic analysis, triangulate learning from multiple governance sources, provide assurance to senior leaders, and support the translation of findings into measurable service improvement across maternity services.
