The Role
As a Qualified Dental Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting our clinicians and ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care. You will work within a modern practice environment and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting clinicians during a range of dental and orthodontic procedures
- Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and equipment
- Ensuring compliance with infection prevention and cross-infection control procedures
- Decontamination and sterilisation of instruments
- Providing excellent patient care and support throughout treatment
- Recording and updating patient information accurately
- Supporting reception duties when required
- Maintaining stock levels and clinical supplies
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a recognised Dental Nursing qualification (NEBDN or equivalent)
- Be registered with the GDC
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate a caring and professional approach to patient care
- Be organised, reliable, and able to work effectively within a team
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous orthodontic nursing experience desirable
- Experience using dental practice management software
