Commercial Account Handler

We are looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join our expanding team. We have exciting
growth plans and are looking for an Account Handler to assist in the everyday running of client
accounts to enable the Account Executives to meet Growth targets.

Overall Objectives:

Assist Account Executives in the promotion and growth of JMP, through new and existing client
relationships whilst providing an efficient, quality and reliable service.

The Role:

• Ensuring all documentation and databases are accurate, up to date and compliant
• Follow procedures to maintain scheme management
• Support Account Executives and deal with everyday queries from clients and insurers
• Management of claims including reporting and liaising with all parties for the best outcome for clients
• Be well versed in a full suite of commercial products and employee benefits and demonstrate technical knowledge.
• Build insurer relationships
• In-depth market insight
• Present client presentations to market
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Attendance at meetings / training sessions as required
• Advise clients and potential clients on their insurance requirements in line with their demands and needs
• Accept ultimate responsibility for own clients in all aspects of work to ensure an excellent customer service is provided and maintained.
• Available progression to Account Executive

Experience:

• Minimum of five years insurance experience with excellent customer service
• Cert CII qualified is advantageous
• Good IT skills and ideally experience of using IT platform Acturis
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Good relationship skills
• Enthusiasm, initiative, problem solver, dependability and accountability
