Join BCH as a Benchmark Building Insurance Assessor

Do you have an eye for detail and a head for numbers? BCH is looking for a motivated Benchmark Building Insurance Assessor to help us provide accurate reinstatement valuations for our clients.

What you’ll do

• Analyse building information and digital sources alongside information provided by our clients.
• Take digital measurements and use BCHs in-house Benchmark valuation tools to calculate the Reinstatement Cost of a property.
• Compare findings with external cost information and case studies.
• Prepare clear reports for clients and occasionally speak with them to gather extra details.
• Work from our Formal House office in Cheltenham.

What we’re looking for

• Strong IT skills and confidence with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Great research abilities and an organised approach to prioritising tasks.
• Sharp attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• A positive, helpful attitude and team spirit.
• GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grades A-C/4-9
