Kitchen Assistant
Longlevens RFC, Gloucester
We’re looking for someone to join our kitchen team.
Longlevens RFC have been established since 1954 and we have a large team membership, from mini’s to strollers, including a new women's mixed ability team. We provide match teas for all our home games as well as supporters lunches prior to the 1st team home games. As well as rugby, we engage with the community by running various events throughout the year that all are welcome to, including a Fireworks display in November. We hope to do more this year including pub quizzes, games nights and more and we need someone to join us and help us drive forward.
We provide a mixture of food. For short orders we offer typical “basket food” such as burgers, chicken strips and chips. For match teas we offer hot dogs for our junior teams and pasta bake style dishes for our seniors. There could also be the odd buffet and we try and offer specials where we can, which could be things such as a curry or chicken wraps.

- Prior experience of working in a kitchen is preferred as you may be working alone, but full training will be given
- Prior experience of working in the hospitality industry would be beneficial
- A Food Safety Certificate would be preferred, but we can arrange this for the right candidate
