FTE Salary: £25,287.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)
Actual Salary: £17,336.48 (Reflecting the annual 38 working weeks)
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time, Term-Time only
Working Hours: Minimum of 28 hours over 4 days or 35 hours over 5 days (Job shares are
available), 38 weeks per year term-time all school holidays off
Term-Time Only Contracts will incur a salary adjustment if the start date is after 1st September, the
People & Culture Team can advise how that will impact you during the application process.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- To work collaboratively with curriculum staff in-class to support learner progress and achievement in the classroom.
- To supervise the learners during unstructured times when they are not directly supervised by curriculum staff (e.g. breaks, lunch times, arrivals and departures).
- To provide out-of-class academic support for learners on an individual or group basis.
- To complete all necessary administrative duties, such as accurately recording student support, in a constructive manner
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
- Good standard of general education including Maths and English at GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent), or willingness to upskill.
- A desirable but not essential is experience of working with young people aged 16-25 with additional needs and/or EHCPs. This experience would preferably be within education, but other experiences related to health, social care or in the community is also very relevant.
- Experience or the willingness to learn Office 365 and its applications
