About this Role
In this role, you’ll create engaging, inclusive learning experiences that meet each learner’s goals and support their independence. You’ll use a wide range of teaching approaches and resources to motivate students, build confidence and promote positive behaviour. Collaboration is key, working closely with colleagues and external partners to remove barriers and champion learner progress. You’ll also reflect on and develop your own practice to ensure every learner feels valued, supported and able to succeed at Gloucestershire College.
About You
Experience supporting learners with SEND or gaps in education, helping each individual feel confident and included.
Confident in delivering Functional Skills maths in a supportive, learner‑focused way.
Holds a recognised teaching qualification and committed to developing their practice.
Strong foundation in English and Maths (GCSE A*–C or equivalent).
Open to completing training that strengthens equality, diversity and safeguarding for all learners.
