About the role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Learning support professional to join our learning programmes team. This is a key role, supporting leaners with disabilities and/or learning difficulties to achieve their full potential. We are looking for someone with experience and confident in working in a specialist education setting.
As part of the role as senior learning support you will deliver specialist learning to support individuals and groups, support and mentor both staff and students. You will be required to cover teaching when required and work with tutors’ managers and support teams to ensure the best outcome for learners.
Personal attributes will include:
Experience with delivering learning support.
Good literacy and numeracy skills (level 2)
Strong communication and organisation and ICT skills.
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Hours are typically 9-16.45 weekdays, this will include one late finish until 19:45.
