Learning Support Worker (Adult Education)

Salary: £24,655 - £24,792 FTE. Hourly rate of pay £12.81-£12.89 (dependent on skills and experience)
Contract: Permanent, Hourly Paid, Term Time Only
We require someone to work Monday and Tuesday evenings 6:00pm-8:30pm with more hours available during the day if interested.

Cirencester College are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Learning Support Worker to join our friendly, supportive team. As a member of the support staff, you would play a pivotal role in helping our adult learners to achieve in their Functional Skills English and Maths classes.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable and highly motivated with strong communication and teamwork skills. This is an ideal opportunity for a person keen to gain some experience of working with a diverse range of students in a growing educational establishment.
This role is an hourly paid, permanent term-time only role. Ideally, we want someone to work Monday and Tuesday evening but there are daytime hours available to the right candidate if interested. Some occasional meetings and training occur at 4pm, we are open to discussing this further at interview. We will provide a supportive induction and training package, as well as hands on experience shadowing members of the current team.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a good level of general education, including GCSE English and Maths Grade 4 / C or above, and who would be confident supporting in both areas.
- Has a positive interest in supporting adults with a range of additional needs.
- Efficient user of computer systems, including Teams and Outlook.
