Learning Partner Forest Of Dean
Gloucester
Class People are working closely with schools across the Forest of Dean to recruit Learning Partners who can provide calm, consistent and encouraging support to pupils in the classroom.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with children, building trust and helping them feel confident in their learning. Many of the pupils you'll support simply need a steady adult alongside them to help them engage, stay focused and believe in themselves.
The Role
As a Learning Partner, you will:
Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups within the classroom
Help children understand tasks and stay engaged with learning
Provide additional support for pupils with SEND or emotional needs
Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Work closely with teachers and support staff to create a safe, inclusive environment
Every school is different, and we take care to place you where your approach and strengths are the best fit.
Who This Role Suits
We're keen to hear from people who:
Have experience working with children or young people (schools, care, youth work or similar)
Are patient, reliable and confident supporting individual needs
Communicate well and build positive relationships
Want to make a meaningful difference in Forest of Dean schools
You don't need to be a qualified teacher - this role suits those looking to start or continue a career in education.
Why Work With Class People
Class People is an independent education recruitment agency based in Gloucestershire. We focus on long-term relationships, honest communication and placing people where they feel valued.
We offer local roles, flexible working options, weekly pay and ongoing support from a consultant who understands both you and the schools we work with.
