Training & Assessment Team Leader

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Team Leader to join a leading awarding organisation. This role is perfect for someone with strong leadership, administrative, and compliance experience who enjoys working in a structured and regulated environment. You’ll be responsible for overseeing processes, ensuring quality standards, and supporting a team to deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and clear communication.
  • Organise and facilitate team meetings, one-on-ones, and staff development sessions.
  • Act as a key point of contact for external partners, providing guidance and resolving queries.
  • Oversee administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Conduct audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Maintain and enhance quality assurance processes related to assessments, results, and certification.
  • Contribute to the development of new initiatives and support business growth.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to enhance organisational success.

Requirements:

  • Leadership or team management experience in a regulated environment (e.g., education, training, compliance, or administration).
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently while also leading a team effectively.
  • Experience in quality assurance, compliance, or qualifications is beneficial but not essential.
