We are working with a highly supportive and well-established specialist provision in Gloucestershire that caters for pupils who require a more tailored, nurturing approach to education. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to building strong, trusting relationships and supporting pupils to re-engage with learning
The Role:
Full-time, long-term opportunities (Monday-Friday)
Supporting pupils across KS2-KS4 with SEMH and associated needs such as ADHD, ASC, trauma and attachment difficulties
Working closely with teaching staff to deliver a structured yet flexible approach to learning
Supporting behaviour regulation, emotional development, and social skills
Providing both in-class support and 1:1 interventions
The Ideal Candidate:
Must have experience working with children, young people or young adults with SEMH and associated needs
Able to commit to a full-time, long-term role - consistency is key for these pupils
Calm, resilient and patient, with strong behaviour management skills
Able to build positive, professional relationships with pupils who may display challenging behaviours
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners to achieve their full potential
Team-Teach training is highly desirable for this setting!
The Setting:
This specialist provision takes a therapeutic and relationship-based approach, with small class sizes and a strong emphasis on emotional wellbeing. Pupils may have experienced disruption in education and require consistent, reliable adults to support them both academically and emotionally.
