The school is looking for SEND 1:1 Tutor on a Part-time basis. You ll work with pupils on a 1:1 basis in their homes (with a parent/carer always present) or in community spaces such as libraries or children s centres. Every learner is unique, so you ll need to tailor your sessions and build strong, trusting relationships to foster a positive and engaging learning environment. The successful SEND 1:1 Tutor will be working directly with students across all Key Stages, whose ages range from 5 19 years. Most of the young people are diagnosed with either Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD or attention deficit disorder / ADD.

The successful SEND teacher will have:

• Experience delivering 1:1 tuition
• Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD or attention deficit disorder / ADD
• Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
